Welcome to Beauty And the Beast class, taught by Karen Toulson and Diane Jackson, Teaching assistants are Sophie Basharat and Lucy Webster.

The pupils in Beauty and the Beast Class are primarily following the Developing pathway or working towards the Developing pathway of our St Giles Curriculum. All our learning focusses on the Big Question each half term and is delivered through sensory experiences and a Total Communication approach; whilst encouraging the children to be as independent as they can be and also to work with each other as part of our school community. 

Children's wellbeing and regulation is intrinsic to what we do every day, and our children are taught a variety of methods to self-regulate and co-regulate, through interventions including TACPAC, sensory circuits and meditation as well as accessing the outdoors and learning outside the classroom.
