Class Story

Class Overview

 Welcome to Billy Goats Gruff Class. The team are Jake Perry, Debbie Howard, Vanessa Higginbottom and Ellie Ovenden. The children in Billy Goats Gruff class primarily follow the Discovery pathway.

Each half term, our learning focuses on The Big Question, and we explore this through multi-sensory and engaging learning experiences using a Total Communication approach whilst also promoting the children’s independence throughout the school day. We love to be active in our classroom, using sensory equipment it help us regulate and be ready for learning. We love to spend time outdoors as well as in the shared spaces such as soft play, the dark room and the sensory room. We are looking forward to all the activities and adventures the year will bring!
