Class Story

Class Overview
Pied Piper Class are based at the Sir Frank Whittle Road sight and taught by Jackie Bladon (Class Teacher), Tina Carr and Yasmin Karim (Teaching Assistants). Following primarily the Developing pathway of the curriculum, the children will be learning through provision and structured based activities set out daily, this includes having open access the continuous provision area where the activities are mirrored with the work inside the classroom. They will engage in daily sensory based learning experiences including Write Dance and Dough Disco.
The children follow a structured daily routine for teaching and learning with transitions supported by music cues and a ‘Now and Next’ board. They will also routinely access interventions including TAC PAC, movement breaks and sensory circuits to ensure that the children are regulated and ready to learn.
